Scotland
Scotland

Scotland is a country in north-western Europe, with around 5.2 million inhabitants. It borders along 96 km with England to the south, and is separated from Northern Ireland by the North Channel of the Irish Sea.

Scotland is delimited by the North Sea (east), and the North Atlantic Ocean (west and north). The capital is Edinburgh and the largest city is Glasgow.

For many people, besides the whisky, golf and the castles, the most popular image of Scotland is centred on the "Highlands and Islands" - a wonderfully varied land, Scotland has a great deal of proposals to any explorer.

REASONS TO GO

The post-modern Edinburgh.
