The Archipelago of Cape Verde is located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, about 450 Km off the West Coast of Senegal. It consists of ten islands and eight islets divided into two groups: Barlavento (islands of Boa Vista, Sal, Santa Luzia, Santo Antão, São Nicolau and São Vicente) and Sotavento (islands of Brava, Fogo, Maio and Santiago).
These islands are well known for their rich landscapes, provided by the volcanic mountain ranges and by the crystal clear water and white sandy beaches.
